Lexcel Partners, Attorneys at Law and Lexcel Partners IP Co., Ltd., (“We”, “Us” or “Our”), including our branch offices, affiliates, and the related third parties which We may engage to facilitate our services, including but not limited our agents, subcontractors, employees, counselors, etc. (collectively, “Third Parties”), may collect, use, record, process and internationally transfer (collectively, “Process”) your personal data, categorized as (1) for identification, C001 Personnel Identification (including name, title, telephone number, email address, etc.), (2) for social circumstance, C038 Occupation and C041 Court, Prosecutors Office or Other Judgmental Agency or Other Proceedings, (3) for employment status, C061 Current Employment (including employer, title, etc.), (4) for commercial information, C102 Agreements and C115 Other Judgment and Administrative Dispositions, (5) for other various information, C132 Information Not Categorized, under the Specific Purpose and Classification of Personal Information under the Personal Data Protection Act, and (6) for any other categories of your personal data promulgated by the Ministry of Justice, including your name, e-mail address, telephone number, address, title and career status, and any other information that may be used to identify your identity, and any other data to the extent permissible under current law or any law to be enforced or amended in the future (collectively, the “Personal Data”), so as for us to provide you and/or your company/firm with our legal newsletter, news update, alert sheet, legal services and any other similar or related services or information (collectively, the “Related Services”) for any purposes categorized as (040) Marketing, (054) Legal Service, (069) Agreement, Quasi-Agreement or Other Legal Relationship Matters, (090) Consumer, Client Management and Service, (182) Other Consulting Service, any other purposes provided under the Specific Purpose and Classification of Personal Information under the Personal Data Protection Act and any other purposes to the extent permissible under current law or any law to be enforced or amended in the future (collectively, the “Purposes”).
The Personal Data will be Processed for the Purposes. We will Process the Personal Data by automatic machine or other non-automatic way, including but not limited to (a) in writing or in electronic form; and (b) international transmission. Processing of the Personal Data may be made within the territory of the Republic of China, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, Australia, U.S., European countries and the jurisdictions where the Third Parties are located if it is outsourced and/or transferred internationally to the same engaged by Us for the Purposes. The Process of your Personal Data will be Processed during the period when we provide the Related Services and remain for 20 years after the cease of our provision of the Related Services.
You have the right to request to inquire, access to, review, make duplication/supplement/correction, discontinue Processing of or delete your Personal Data, provided that we may charge necessary fees/costs/expenses and/or refuse your request if the Processing is necessary for our operation. The Personal Data is necessary for Us to provide you and your company/firm with the Related Services. We may not be able to provide you with the Related Services as the adverse effect, if you disagree to provide the Personal Data to Us. If there is any change to your Personal Data, you shall inform Us of the same. You represent and warrant that all the Personal Data provided to Us is true and accurate, and you further authorize Us to update the Personal Data at Our discretion.
