1.Ruling Regarding Article 23, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 9 of the Regulations Governing Offshore Funds
On 6 March 2026, the Financial Supervisory Commission issued a ruling amending the provisions related to Subparagraph 9, Paragraph 1, Article 23 of the Regulations Governing Offshore Funds, which are relevant to the substantive review rules for offshore funds. The amendments are mainly to introduce “multi-asset offshore funds” as a new fund category and establish the corresponding investment restrictions applicable to such funds. In addition, the investment limits applicable to non-investment grade bonds and Rule 144A bonds under each applicable fund category have been consolidated into a single combined cap.
